Liverpool International Polo Tournament

Hello everyone, date for your diaries...

Liverpool International Canoe Polo Tournament

June 4th and 5th 2016

This tournament is run over 2 days in the iconic Albert Docks as part of the Liverpool River Festival (so there will be lots of other things going on too.) It is a 4/5 pitch outdoor venue which caters for all ability levels. There is usually a burger tent too :P There’s free camping just 5 minutes from the venue with showers, toilets and a bar on site. The entrance fees are £75 per team which works out less than or equal to £15 per person.

We managed to come 2nd last year in Class 4 and this year if we have enough interest it would be great to be able to enter 2 teams (one in class 3 and one in class 4), but this obviously depends on interest, referees, availability etc. All team members do need to be British Canoe members to meet with the events insurance policy.

It’s a great experience and opportunity to watch some really quality polo as well. It might even be sunny! Please let me know if you’re interested or if you have any queries or questions.
