The Cumbrian Canoe Polo Series got off to a strong start on Saturday when Penrith Canoe Club hosted the first tournament for this winter. Teams from Kendal, Barrow, Carlisle and Lancaster joined Penrith in a lively and enthusiastically competitive league event.

Established 5 years ago, Penrith Canoe Club have been developing their structure and coaching of Canoe Polo skills, which is now paying dividends. In the first 2 years in National Division 4, they finished mid table.

Hello all, This Saturday, 27th August, Ullswater Yacht Club will be holding a come and try day, and have asked Penrith Canoe Club if we'd like to do something as well. ![]() New Outdoor Venue for Summer 2016 at Ullswater Yacht ClubFrom 6th June until 29th August 2016, Penrith Canoe Club will be based down at Ullswater Yacht Club for it’s weekly evening sessions. Just past Cross Dormant Holiday lets on the Howtown road, along Ullswater. See map. We will have 2 evenings: ![]() Liverpool International Canoe Polo TournamentThis tournament is run over 2 days in the iconic Albert Docks as part of the Liverpool River Festival (so there will be lots of other things going on too.) It is a 4/5 pitch outdoor venue which caters for all ability levels. There is usually a burger tent too :P There’s free camping just 5 minutes from the venue with showers, toilets and a bar on site. The entrance fees are £75 per team which works out less than or equal to £15 per person.
